WHERE GOOD
FOOD BEGINS
A farm rooted in community, transparency, and a shared desire to know where our food comes from. This is where the Council story begins.
HOW COUNCIL BEGAN
As locals in the Tampa Bay community, we noticed something special about the people here: they show up for local. Whether it’s farmers, small shops, or neighborhood restaurants, Tampa Bay celebrates those who create close to home.
That spirit inspired the idea of Council. We wanted to build a place that reflects the values of this community — a place where people can gather, enjoy each other’s company, and feel connected to the food they’re eating.
The name “Council” represents a coming together of people from varied backgrounds, united by a shared vision:
Greater transparency in how food is grown
Shorter pathways from farm to table
A space made for community
OUR FARMING PRINCIPLES
Our farming practices are guided by respect for the land and the people who enjoy its harvest. We grow using natural methods and organic principles, focusing on soil health, biodiversity, and careful stewardship of every resource.
We aim to shorten the path from food to plate, reduce waste wherever possible, and create a sustainable rhythm that supports the farm and the community long-term.
Grown with organic principles
Natural fertilizers
Pesticide-free approaches
Soil-forward care
Thoughtful harvesting and composting
Resource-minded farming
Council Farm is meant to be enjoyed. Visitors are invited to spend the day wandering the farm, sharing a meal, relaxing on the porch, shopping the Market, or simply taking in the open space.
Whether you arrive alone or with family, we hope you feel welcome, grounded, and connected — to the land, to the food, and to each other.

WHAT WE’RE GROWING TOWARD
The farm is just the beginning. As we continue to grow, Council Farm will expand into a full experience — including the Market, Meeting House restaurant, future events, and more ways to connect with local growers and makers.
